Opting to bat, Indian openers Jaiswal and Gaikwad set the stage with a rapid start. Jaiswal dominated Maxwell's over, smashing boundaries with a lofted cover drive and a sweep over square-leg. Gaikwad continued the onslaught, and Jaiswal's fifty off 24 balls showcased his power hitting.
